RADIO BROADCAST & FLOWER CHARTS FOR 2010 are kept in the white 3 ring binder at the Information Center. Do you have a occasion you would like to recognize? If you would like to sponsor either the radio broadcast or the altar flowers for a particular Sunday, please sign up on the appropriate chart. The cost for the altar flowers is $70. The radio broadcast is $55. Dates available for broadcast: August 15 and September 26, October 3 & 10 and November 7 & 14. Dates available for altar flowers are: September 19 & 26; October 31 and November 14.

HELP SAVE LIVES - Donate blood on Tuesday, July 27 from 1 - 6 PM in our Peace Fellowship Hall. A free T-shirt for all donors! Help yourself to our ice cream Sunday bar! All donors are entered into a car give away drawing by the Red Cross! Give the gift of life, Give Blood! Sign up at the Information Center. Volunteers also needed that day.

"ROCKIN' THE GRANDSTAND CHRISTIAN STYLE" Did you hear the news? After Edmund and Wavorly are coming to the Langlade County Fair on Wednesday, July 28th. They are Christian rock bands. Tickets at the grandstand will be $10. However, advance tickets may be purchased from Chad or Holly Luerssen for $9. You may sign up at the Information Desk or call 623-3110 for tickets.

NEW 4K TEACHER - We are blessed to have Janice Kuske accept the position as our new 4 year old kindergarten teacher. Mrs Kuske has 15 years of early childhood teaching experience. This will be a part-time contracted position for the 2010 - 2011 school year. 4K will meet Monday thru Thursday mornings. For more information call the church/school office - 715-623-2200.

What would PLS do with a half million dollars? Peace Lutheran School would create a Technology Club and update the computer lab. We'd also like to add IPod Touches and IPads, as well as photo and video editing software for our students to use. Kohl's Cares is donating $500,000 to 20 schools for a total of $10 million this fall. The schools with the most votes win. Here's how you can help. Visit facebook.com/kohls. FISH BOIL - Annual Fish Boil will be held Friday, August 6, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at St Matthew Lutheran Church, Hwy M, White Lake, WI. Adults - $9.00; children under 13 - $3.00. Tickets available at the door. Hot dogs available. Carry outs available. Proceeds go to the church building fund.

Last Christian College Campfire Conversation
We will be holding our last get together on Tueday, August 3rd starting at 6:30PM. College student Jason Halambeck is graciously opening up his backyard for our campfire. He is located at N838 Pine Lane.
